How we assess

This assessment is built from published vendor documentation, product materials and pricing pages, current at the verification date shown. We do not claim hands on testing of the products covered.

What our findings are based on

Every capability, price, platform and limit here comes from a vendor's own documentation, linked on the product's review page and stamped with the day we read it.

What we do not claim

We have not run these products, and nothing here is written as though we had.

A hands on comparison, properly licensed and properly timed, would be a stronger asset than anything here. If we ever do one, it will say so, and it will publish the model, the machine and the method.

How the scoring works

Every product is scored against the same seven criteria at the same weights. Each is scored out of its own weight, and the score is published as a breakdown with the reasoning beside it. No overall star.

The rubric was published before any product was scored against it, and it includes criteria that not every product passes.

How we handle prices

Most products in this category do not publish a price. Where a price is published, we quote it and link the page. Where it is not, we say so, because the absence is itself a verifiable fact and a material one for a buyer.

Third party figures circulate for several of these products. Where we report one, we name who reported it, link them, and say plainly that we have not been able to confirm it. We never print an unconfirmed figure as though it were a price.

What "not stated" means

Where the sources do not establish a capability, the cell reads "not stated". A cross would be a claim about the product. This is a claim about the sources.

How current the findings are

Every product record carries the date its sources were last read, shown on the review page and in the tables.

Corrections

Corrections go to editor@processmgr.com and are made on the page, with the date.

Who publishes this site

This title is published by ProcessMgr, an independent publisher covering process improvement practice and the software that supports it. Some vendors covered here are commercial partners of the publisher, which is set out on the disclosure page. That relationship does not change the rubric, the weights, or what the sources say.
