What is process simulation worth to you?
Put your own numbers in. It works out what a year of the improvement is worth, and the most a tool could cost and still pay for itself inside twelve months. Nothing is sent anywhere and nothing is asked of you.
What it is worth

No tool price is assumed here, and that is not an oversight. 2 of the 8 products we assess publish a price and 6 do not, so any payback period this page printed would rest on a number invented for most of them. The figure above is the threshold instead: hold a quote against it. We track which products you can get a number from at all.
The shortlist is ranked by the published rubric, then adjusted by whatever you ticked. A requirement counts for more than the criterion it belongs to, because a requirement is a threshold rather than a preference. Tick that it has to run in a browser and the order changes, because the product at the top of the general ranking does not do that.
The arithmetic, in full
Volume times hours times improvement gives hours recovered, then hours recovered times cost per hour. Nothing else. The figures this page loads with are a worked example: 12,000 items a year, 6 hours each, $45 an hour, 20 percent recovered.
The same arithmetic is written out at length, with worked examples, in what an hour at the constraint is actually worth, where the time in a process actually goes, and why the cost figure from your finance system is the wrong one.
